What may communicate

Authorized target requests are scanner function. Explicit delivery, remote authorization, and custom code/plugins may communicate externally. Network transmission is not claimed impossible.

Public website operational metrics

The public website records limited server-side metrics for reliability and abuse awareness: route, response status, coarse latency, referrer domain, coarse user-agent class, and claimed crawler family. It does not use third-party analytics, advertising pixels, cookies, browser fingerprinting, or raw IP storage.

Estimated unique visitors use a daily rotating keyed hash of a truncated network prefix and coarse device class. Raw event rows are retained briefly; anonymous daily aggregates last longer. These website metrics do not change K-Shield product telemetry defaults.
